The Embassy of France in Kampala is handling all short-stay visa applications in Uganda on behalf of Sweden, as per a Schengen representation agreement.
In order to visit Sweden, citizens of Uganda and other countries need an entry visa. An entry visa is a permit required by persons wishing to enter Sweden for a temporary visit, for example:
Where do I apply?
From 1 January 2019, the Embassy of France handles all
short-stay visa applications in Uganda on behalf of Sweden, as per the Schengen representation agreement. Hence, from that date all Schengen visa applications for travels to Sweden must be lodged at the Embassy of France in Kampala.
