Fees

 

Fee for visa application (from October 5, 2020) 

Adults:                                THB 3,000 or EUR 80 
Children aged 6 - 12:        THB 1,500 or EUR 40   

The application fee is tied to the euro and is revised in the event of any major shift in the exchange rate. 

VFS Global

VFS Global charges a service fee per application, in addition to the above fee for the visa. 

How to pay

If you are applying via VFS Global, you pay the visa and service fee in cash in Thai Baht on your visit to the Swedish Visa Application Centre. 

To submit your Schengen visa application at the Embassy, you must book a time. You can pay by credit card directly at the Embassy or by cash at the UOB Bank located at the Two Pacific Place Builiding, ground floor. The visa fee is to be paid into account number 795-1-05431-7 and the account holder is ‘Swedish Embassy’. Please contact the Migration Section to have your application checked in prior to paying at the bank.

 

The following are exempted from paying the visa fee:

  • Children under six years of age.
  • School pupils, students, research students and accompanying teachers on study or training trips.
  • Third-country researchers travelling for the purpose of pursuing scientific research.
  • Representatives of non-governmental organizations who are aged 25 or under, who take part in seminars, conferences, sports events, cultural events or educational events organized by NGOs.
  • family member of an EU or EEA citizen if they are to move to the family member in Sweden or travelling on a short journey to prepare for a move together with the family member in Sweden. Normal supporting documents for a Schengen visa must be submitted with the Schengen visa application if the intention to travel to Sweden is only for regular visits. Read more about which individuals are counted as relatives on the Swedish Migration Agency's website. Relatives of Swedish citizens have to pay a fee.

Family members of EU citizen

 

Citizens of countries that have signed visa facilitation agreements with the EU pay a reduced fee or are exempt from payment. This applies to citizens of:

  • Albania
  • Bosnia
  • Georgia
  • Macedonia
  • Moldova
  • Montenegro
  • Russia
  • Serbia
  • Ukraine

 

Fee for Visitor's Permit 

Adults:                                SEK 1,500   -   THB 5,760 
Children age 0 - 18:          SEK 750      -   THB 2,880

National Visa (D Visa) 

Adults and children:         THB 2,250 or EUR 60 (from October 5, 2020)

(Pay the same day as submission of your application at the Embassy)
