The Entry/Exit System (EES) is an automated IT system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders of any of the following European countries using the system:

The EES was progressively launched on 12 October 2025 at the external borders of the European countries using the system and is fully operational since 10 April 2026.
Who is registered in the EES?
Non-EU nationals travelling to the European countries using the EES for a short stay (up to 90 days within a 180-day period), regardless of whether they need a short-stay visa or they are visa-free travellers.

Due to the tragic death of our Honorary Consul Vajaravudh Sukseree, the Honorary Consulate in Hua Hin is vacant and is therefore unable to offer any consular services from 15 January 2025 until further notice.
Consular activities may be resumed once a new honorary consul has been appointed. Swedes in need of consular assistance are referred to the Embassy in Bangkok for the time being.
