If you want to visit Sweden and you are a citizen of a country outside the EU, you may need to apply for a visa. Neither citizens of North Macedonia nor citizens of Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and Ukraine who possess a biometric passport require a visa to visit Sweden up to 90 days, within a period of 180 days. For a longer stay you need to apply for a residence permit.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all states in the world, with embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
