Applying for a Schengen visa

To visit Sweden you need an entry visa. A visa is an authorization to enter Sweden and stay for a short period of time for temporary visits. For example, family, tourist or business visits.

Visa applications are made by appointment at the VFS Global Center in Rabat. VFS Global is responsible for collecting applications, taking biometric data and returning passports. The decision to grant or refuse a visa always rests with the Swedish Embassy.

Please note that on the day of your appointment, you are requested to visit the VFS Global Center at the following address: Rue Al Koufa, Rabat next to Bab Rwah.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
All applicants for a Schengen visa at the Swedish Embassy must present themselves personally and undergo fingerprinting and photo-taking at VFS Global. For children under 12, fingerprinting is not applicable, but their presence is mandatory.

N.B.: The Embassy works solely with VFS Global and has no links with other agents outside its premises or those of VFS Global, which offers its visa services for a fee. No outside agent can influence the processing time or decision.
