Residence permit for studies
Before travelling to Sweden, you must obtain a residence permit for studies if your programme lasts longer than 90 days.
The Embassy of Sweden in Tel Aviv does not process residence permits, and cannot answer questions about migration related issued. Please contact: Embassy of Sweden in Amman.
The Embassy in Tel Aviv does not handle visas or migration cases
As of 1 October 2025, the Embassy of Sweden in Tel Aviv no longer handles visa or migration cases. If you wish to apply for a visa, please contact VFS Global. For matters related to residence permits or work permits, you should contact another Swedish Embassy in the region or within the Schengen area. Please note that the Embassy in Tel Aviv cannot answer questions regarding visa or migration matters.
