When you want to travel to Sweden with pets, you must always declare the animal to Swedish Customs. Failure to do so may constitute an offence. The animal must also fulfil the Swedish Board of Agriculture’s requirements for import or export.
If you are travelling with, for example, a dog or cat to Sweden from Israel, you must declare it to Swedish Customs. The animal must be declared at the border.
