Updated visiting routines for migration process (COVID-19)

Beginning Thursday the 19th of March, you must contact us by email (visa.new-delhi@gov.se) and schedule your visit in advance. Only the following applicants will be provided appointments: 

  • Applicants who have received positive decisions and need to submit biometrics (for their residence permit cards).
  • Applicants who wish to submit applications which are not possible to submit online (kind reminder that Schengen visa applications are only allowed to be lodged at the VFS). 

Kindly mention your case number, control number or passport number while requesting for appointment at the Embassy. Applicants with ongoing cases or pending decisions will not be provided any appointment.

 

AVOID OTHER PEOPLE SELLING SERVICES

Please note that the Embassy only cooperates with VFS Global in India and Nepal. The embassy has nothing to do with sellers outside the premises of the embassy or the VFS Global office who offer services for payment. No sellers can influence either the processing period or the decision.

If you find that any of the Embassy or VFS Global staff offer you a visa for money (in addition to the visa fee), for other favours or else behave in a corrupt way please send an email to ambassaden.new-delhi@gov.se
