Nordic/EEA/EU citizens

Information for Nordic/EEA/EU citizens

Icelanders and other Nordic citizens are allowed to reside and work in any Nordic country without a permit.

Other citizens of the EEA and EU countries have the right to reside and work in Sweden without a work permit if the period of employment does not exceed three (3) months. Persons who intend to reside/work in Sweden for a longer period need to apply for a  permit.
