The Embassy has been made aware of individuals who falsely claim to represent the Swedish Migration Agency or the Embassy of Sweden in Bangladesh. These individuals may assert that, in exchange for payment, they can secure earlier interview appointments at the Embassy or influence the outcome of residence permit applications.
The Embassy wishes to clarify that it has no affiliation with any individuals or companies offering such services for payment. All appointments related to residence permit are arranged exclusively by the Embassy and are provided free of charge.
The Embassy of Sweden in Bangladesh is the sole authority responsible for handle residence permit applications on behalf of the Swedish Migration Agency. Any individual who becomes aware of individuals misrepresenting Swedish authorities or suspects attempts to request payments for services related to the application process is encouraged to report the matter directly to the Embassy.
