If your Swedish passport or national ID card is due to expire soon, this page will guide you through the application process.
Regardless of whether you live in Sweden or the UK, you can apply for a passport/id-card at the Swedish Police.
If you apply for a passport in Sweden, you can ask to have it sent to the UK so that you can collect it at the Embassy. Find more information about collecting your passport here.
The Embassy can offer a limited number of Swedish citizens the opportunity to renew their passports in London.
To be able to apply for a Swedish passport/id-card, a personal id number or a coordination number is required.
