On May 22, the Swedish embassy together with the embassies of Finland and Norway hold a joint reception in celebration of their respective ‘National Days’.
The event highlighted cooperation between the Nordic countries, based on the principles of inclusion, innovation and sustainability. The minister of transport and communication, Carlos Fortes Mesquita opened the event with a speech together with the three ambassadors.
About 400 guests from government, civil society, the diplomatic community, the public and private sectors, the media and Nordic citizens living in Mozambique attended the event.
The event also had the participation from ABB, Bayport, Volvo Warehouse and Kone, and took place at the Montebello Indy Congress Hotel.
