Procurement of audit services for the Embassy of Sweden in Maputo/deadline extended to July 06th, 2020 at 16.00 hours
The Embassy of Sweden in Maputo intends to procure three firms to provide audit services on a framework basis. The assignments to be undertaken by the firms are described in the procurement documents herein.
The MFA has extended the advice against travel to countries outside the EU, the EEA and the Schengen area until 31 August, and will remove the advice against travel to a number of countries in the EU, the EEA and the Schengen area as of 30 June
Extension of temporary entry ban to the EU via Sweden due to COVID-19
Today the Government decided to extend the temporary entry ban to the EU via Sweden until 30 June. The decision was taken following a recommendation of the European Commission. The aim of the entry ban is, as previously, to mitigate the effects of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and reduce the outbreak of COVID-19.

On 17 March, the Government decided to temporarily ban non-essential travel to Sweden from all countries except European Union Member States, the United Kingdom, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. The entry ban was introduced following a call by the European Council and European Commission with the aim of mitigating the effects of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and reducing the outbreak of COVID-19. The ban has been in effect since 19 March following a recommendation by the Commission. It has now been extended until 30 June.

Important information about the COVID-19 pandemic: Flights
All passenger flights to and from Mozambique have been cancelled from the 12th of May til the 29th of June. Ethiopian airlines are planning to go back to service the 1st of July. The TAP flight scheduled for the 7th of June is cancelled and TAP will start flying again on the 15th of July as earliest. Contact the companies for more information.
