Katinka Faragó, Ingmar Bergman's script supervisor, production manager and producer, visits the Bay Area for conversations as part of the Ingmar Bergman 100 celebration.
San Francisco Dance Film Festival presents the world premiere of Play Serious by filmmaker T. M. Rives about Alexander Ekman's trials and tribulations creating Play for the Paris Opera Ballet by filmmaker T. M. Rives. Other Swedish films include Alexander Ekman's Study in Creativity and Ekman's Concise Guide to Natural Movement, a short dance film he created in San Francisco earlier this year.
The 41st Mill Valley Film Festival will take place on October 4-14 and this year's festival presents the two Swedish films Becoming Astrid (Unga Astrid) and Border (Gräns).
