We are currently seeking a colleague who is passionate about creating memorable meetings and professional events that enhance the image of Sweden on the west coast, while also providing a dynamic environment for building valuable networks, fostering partnerships, and strengthening Sweden’s presence in key areas.
About the Role
The Consulate General in San Francisco is seeking an engaged, proactive, and service-oriented Event and Residence Coordinator to support operations and ensure that the residence and related event spaces function smoothly. The position is full-time and requires a person with excellent organizational skills, high integrity, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a meticulous and professional manner. You will ensure that the premises maintain a high standard through preparation, table setting, and ongoing maintenance.
You will also be responsible for managing invitations, bookings, and the overall logistics surrounding events. For smaller gatherings (up to twelve guests), the role includes preparing, cooking, and serving simple meals, as well as maintaining and caring for official hospitality equipment.
You may also assist, as needed, with planning and executing representation at the chancery.
