The Embassy of Sweden in Madrid is led by Ambassador Teppo Tauriainen and is tasked with representing Sweden and the Swedish government in the Spain.
At the Embassy a total of 17 people work with a range of issues, including both diplomatic and locally engaged staff.

Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
