Accounting, Protocol and Consular Officer (full-time position)
The Embassy of Sweden is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position as Accounting, Protocol and Consular Officer.
The Embassy of Sweden in Astana is a small diplomatic mission (two Swedish diplomats and three local employees), which handles Sweden’s diplomatic relations with Kazakhstan by ensuring follow-up of bilateral and EU relations in the areas of political, economic and trade cooperation as well as handling consular and administrative affairs.
The starting date is as soon as possible, but at the latest June 1, 2026.
The salary is based on local salary levels at similar employers in Kazakhstan and will also depend on relevant and verified employment experience. Probationary period – 3 months. Benefits package includes personal leave days (28 days/annually) plus public holidays, health & social insurance including pension.
