About us
Welcome to the Embassy of Sweden in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The embassy’s role is to represent Sweden as well as to follow and promote Swedish interests in Israel. Some of our main responsibilities are maintaining a dialogue with the Israeli government, other public representatives and the civil society, to follow and report about Israel’s political and economic development and to promote Swedish trade, economy, research and culture. Another central task is also to provide consular services and assistance to Swedish citizens who are visiting or living in Israel, as well as processing visa applications for foreign citizens who want to visit Sweden.
The Ambassador of Sweden to Israel is, since September 2020, Mr. Erik Ullenhag. More information about our staff can be found through the link below. The Embassy of Sweden is since 2015 located at 2 HaShlosha Street, Tel Aviv.
Sweden has honorary consulates in Eilat and Haifa, which report directly to the Embassy in Tel Aviv. Their contact information can be found at the bottom of the page.
