Accept all Only criticalThe Embassy can inform you of the outcome of your decision by phone, but in order to receive your decision in full (grounds and reasons of the decision) you need to contact the Embassy.
The prescribed way to obtain your decision is by collecting it personally at the Embassy after identifying yourself with a valid passport or ID card.
If you have given someone power of attorney in Sweden, authorising them to represent you, the decision is sent to this person. He or she will inform you what the decision says.
The Embassy can also send your decision to the address you have given to the Migration Agency or your current address, with recommended post.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
