Visit Sweden

As of 28 March 2017, Georgian citizens with biometric passports can travel visa free in the EU Schengen Area. 

As of 6 March 2026, the European Commission has suspended visa-free travel for holders of Georgian diplomatic, service, and official passports. They are now required to be in possession of a visa when entering the Schengen area for official purposes.

Holders of Georgian residence permit cards, who wish to apply for Schengen Visa to Sweden, should contact the Latvian Embassy in Tbilisi.
