This roundtable discussion brought together private and public sector interlocutors from Europe and the MENA-region for an exchange on scaling up renewable energy in the region.
The discussion centred on how dialogue, policy innovation, and cross-sector collaboration can accelerate the transition to renewable energy and contribute to shared climate neutrality goals in Europe and Middle Eastern countries.
Participants explored the need for integrated approaches that link technological innovation, policy frameworks, and financing mechanisms. It also underscored the importance of building partnerships between entrepreneurs, governments, and investors to promote sustainable development.
The roundtable was organised in collaboration with with the Riyadh-based King Abdulaziz City for Sciene and Technology (KACST) the Swedish Embassy in Saudi Arabia.
