Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming the way societies address conflict, promote dialogue, and build sustainable peace. At the Swedish Dialogue Institute for the Middle East and North Africa, we explore how AI technologies can support inclusive peacebuilding efforts, enhance early warning systems, and foster intercultural understanding.
Through workshops, roundtables, and collaborative research, we examine both the opportunities and challenges that AI presents in fragile contexts. Our work focuses on ethical AI use, gender-sensitive approaches, and youth engagement in digital peacebuilding. By bridging technological innovation with human-centered dialogue, we aim to contribute to a more peaceful and resilient future in the MENA region and beyond.
