This round table discussion brought together heads of EU Delegations in the MENA-region, representatives from EU institutions in Brussels (EEAS, EIB and COMS) and leading political experts from Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon for a frank exchange on EU-MENA relations amidst regional instability and conflicts.
Discussions focused on the implications of conflict in Syria, Palestine and Lebanon for EU-MENA relations, and generated recommendations on how the EU should engage to uphold a constructive role regionally and internationally. The roundtable was organised upon the request of the EU Delegation to Jordan and took place on the margins of the EU’s annual regional meeting in Amman.
