The Advisory Committee of the Swedish Dialogue Institute for the Middle East and North Africa is a distinguished group of leaders from the MENA region and Europe, identified by the Institute to guide and support its work, and advise on activities and programmes.
In accordance with its regulation, the Swedish Dialogue Institute for the Middle East and North Africa maintains an Advisory Committee. The Director appoints the Chair and the members of the Advisory Committee for a fixed term. The Advisory Committee provides the Director with proposals for activities and may also contribute to the evaluation of various activities and of the operations as a whole.
As of 1 June 2026, a new Advisory Committee has been appointed for a term until 31 May 2028. It is a distinguished group of leaders from the MENA region and Europe, representing a breadth of expertise and perspectives.
The Advisory Committee is expected to hold two regular meetings per year. Members may also be invited to participate in various meetings and projects, as appropriate.
