The Swedish Life Sciences and Health Care platform visited Liaoning province on June 24.
The Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden and company representatives from Astra Zeneca, HemoCue, Getinge, Elekta and Mölnlycke took part in the visit. In the morning the delegation met with the Liaoning Health Commission, Liaoning Medical Insurance Bureau and Liaoning Medical Products Bureau. Health care reform in Liaoning was the topic for discussion. During the afternoon the delegation met with the management of the First Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University and received an in-depth introduction of the high-ranking hospital’s development.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
