In a consular emergency, the Embassy can be reached by calling the Embassy's switchboard +86 10 8531 1800 and connecting the call to the Consular Duty Officer at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm.
The Embassy will open again as usual on Wednesday, 22 November 2023.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
