You pay a fee for your visa or residence permit application. The money is not refunded if your application is rejected.
The application fees in the amount of 35 euros are valid for the citizens of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cape Verde, Georgia, Moldavia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Russia*, Serbia (Koordinaciona uprava passports) - regardless the validity (up to 90 days) and the number of entries. For all the other citizens the fee is 80 euros, and 40 euros for children between 6 and 12.
*As of 28 Feberuary 2022, the Russian officials, businessmen and diplomats need to pay the full visa fee and attach additional documents to their application, since the Visa Facilitation Agreement has been suspended for these categories, after the decision of the Council of the European Union.

How to pay
The fee is paid in cash or by bank card, when submitting the application at the Embassy. The fee is paid only in dinars, in the exact amount. Be ready for monthly changes in the prices due to the rate changes of the euro, so please consult the page with the frequently asked questions before visiting the Embassy to check which price is valid for the following month.
