You have received a decision

Here you will find information about what happens after the Swedish Migration Agency has made a decision in an application for a permit to visit or live in Sweden for more than 90 days, or work in Sweden.

If you have applied with the Swedish Migration Agency for a permit to visit or live in Sweden for more than 90 days, or work in Sweden, you will receive a message when your case has been settled and a decision has been made.

The message about the decision tells you whether your application has been granted or rejected, and contains general information about the next steps.

The message usually comes via an email from the Swedish Migration Agency (to the email address that is registered in connection with your case).

In some cases, the message about the decision may come from a Swedish embassy that handles Swedish migration matters, or it may be visible through My Page.

More information

The Swedish Migration Agency provides information about what happens next and what you need to do if you have received a decision, and also what applies in different situations when you have a permit in Sweden, including what happens if your situation changes.
