Apply for a Schengen visa

Here you will find information about Schengen visas, including how to apply in Australia for a Schengen visa to visit Sweden for up to 90 days.

In some places, including Australia, Sweden is represented by another Schengen country for the processing of Schengen visas although there is a local Swedish Embassy, this is governed through a Schengen visa representation agreement. The representing country is responsible for the entire visa application process from start to finish, and may choose to use the services of an external service provider. In Australia, Sweden is represented by Norway, who uses the services of the external service provider VFS Global.

Apply for a Swedish Schengen visa in Australia

If you are a third-country national (non-EU citizen) who resides in Australia and want to apply for a Schengen visa to visit Sweden for up to 90 days, your application should be submitted through VFS Global. The application is then processed by the Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand.
