For Swedes in Israel

Passport pick-up

Passports and national ID cards are produced in Sweden and sent to the Embassy. The normal processing time is 2–3 weeks from the date the application is approved. When the passport is ready for collection, an automatic email will be sent to the email address provided.

Passport collection takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 13:00 and 15:00. No appointment is required.

If your old passport is still valid when you collect your new one, you must bring it with you. A child’s passport must be collected by a legal guardian, who must also be able to verify their identity.

If you applied for a passport at another issuing authority but chose to collect the passport at the Embassy in Tel Aviv, a fee of 200 SEK will be charged. This fee is paid by card at the time of collection.

The new passport must be collected within six months. After this period, the passport will be cancelled and the application fee will not be refunded.
