If you live in Australia and receive a pension from Sweden, you may be required to submit a life certificate to continue receiving your pension payments. You do not need to be a Swedish citizen to be entitled to a Swedish pension.
The Swedish Pensions Agency (Pensionsmyndigheten) is responsible for matters relating to national public pension in Sweden.

You are responsible for submitting your stamped life certificate to the Swedish Pensions Agency in accordance with the instructions provided on their website.

The Embassy and the Honorary Consulates can also stamp life certificates issued by other Swedish authorities or organisations, provided that the certificate states that a Swedish embassy or consulate is authorised to do so. If the certificate requires two people's signatures, this can be arranged at the Embassy in Canberra. If you wish to visit an Honorary Consulate, please check with the relevant Consulate if it is possible.
The following applies if you wish to visit the Embassy of Sweden in Canberra or an Honorary Consulate in Australia to have a life certificate stamped. There is no fee.
