If your Swedish passport or national ID card has been lost or stolen in Australia, you should report the loss as soon as possible and ensure that the document is blocked so that it cannot be used by anyone else.

If the loss or theft has occurred in Australia, you should report the incident to the local Australian police.

The police report can be presented at the Embassy or an Honorary Consulate either in connection with an application for a new passport or national ID card, or during a separate visit.
