Due to measures taken to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Embassy is open to the public by appointment only

To book appointment for passport and migration matters please send an email to: migration.maputo@gov.se 

To book appointment for all other visits or consular matters please send an email to ambassaden.maputo@gov.se

The Embassy will evaluate whether your visit is necessary or if we can assist you in other ways.

When visiting the Embassy the use of a face mask that covers nose and mouth is mandatory.
Without a face mask or if you have symptoms of COVID-19 or a body temperature above +37,5C you will have to book a new appointment.

Travel visas to Sweden

For Schengen visas to Sweden, please contact one of the following Swedish Embassies:
The Swedish Embassy in Pretoria
The Swedish Embassy in Addis Abeba
The Sweidish embassy in Lusaka
The Swedish Embassy in Nairobi

Please note that applying by mail is only possible if the applicant has previously applied for and been granted a visa within the last 59 months, meaning biometric information is already in the system. Otherwise, applicants must appear in person at one of the above-mentioned embassies to submit biometrics, i.e. photo and fingerprints.
