A matchmaking event was hosted by Ambassador Sammelin in the Swedish Residence on January 23.
Representatives from Greek publishers had the opportunity to listen to pitches from seven Swedish writers. The writers that attended the event was Anja Gatu, Frida Rosensund, Jan Henrik Swahn, Per Karlen, Selene Hellström, Theres K Agdler and Ulf Lindström. The event was arranged in collaboration with the Swedish Public Employment Service Culture Media (Arbetsförmedlingen Kultur Media). The presentations included different genres of contemporary Swedish literature. We hope that this initiative will contribute to more modern Swedish literature reaching the Greek public.
