Consular matters for Swedish citizens including passport matters 

Opening hours for consular matters including passport matters must be booked in advance. The reception times are Tuesdays and Thursdays between 13.30 and 15.00. All visits must be booked in advance. Contact the embassy to book an appointment by email. 

For urgent consular matters outside office hours, contact the embassy by telephone +255 (0) 22-2196 500 and press "0" to be connected to the officer on duty at the Foreign Ministry's consular emergency room in Stockholm.

Matters concerning residence and work permits

The migration services previously provided by the Embassy of Sweden in Dar es Salaam have now been transferred to the Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi.
