About the Embassy

The Embassy represents Sweden and Swedish interests in Moldova through:

• promoting political, economic and cultural contacts between Sweden and Moldova
• promoting Moldovan European integration
• Swedish development cooperation with Moldova
• consular service for Swedish citizens (please note that the Embassy is not able to issue passports).

The Embassy's opening hours for consular questions are: Monday to Friday 10.00 - 12.00

The Embassy in Chisinau does not process any visas. The EU Common Visa Application Centre, administered by the Embassy of Hungary in Moldova, issues visas for citizens of Moldova wishing to travel to Sweden.
