KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden is hosting an event in San Francisco focused on creating sustainable impact for society through collaboration and innovation. The event is arranged in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden in Washington D.C., the Honorary Consulate of Sweden in San Francisco, and Vinnova – Sweden’s Innovation Agency, and in partnership with the City of Stockholm. 

​​The Stockholm Model - Creating Sustainable Impact for Society through Collaboration and Innovation​  

Swedish and American researchers, government leaders, and C-level representatives of leading companies will come together to explore how relationships between the public, private and academic sectors create strong foundations for innovation that meets society’s greatest challenges. 

This two-day engagement will involve presentations and discussions focused on challenges and opportunities of mutual concern. 

We are looking forward to interactive discussions around the following subjects: The Growing Impact of Climate Change on Energy Systems, Life Science, Digital Transformation, Innovation Landscapes in Stockholm and Silicon Valley, Security in a Geopolitically Challenging World, and Food Technology.  

Dates: May 8-9, 2023 

Time: (Day 1) noon to 7 p.m.; (Day 2) 9 a.m. to noon  

Location: The Historic Klamath, Pier 9, The Embarcadero, San Francisco

What to expect
