Join us for a Swedish National Day Celebration together with the Swedish Church on Sunday, June 11 .
There will be a short church service led by pastor Joakim Schröder followed by musical performance by saxophonist Annette Munkeby and pianist Ken Muir and speech by Honorary Consul Barbro Osher.
Princess cake and coffee will be served afterwards. National costume encouraged.
Sweden's National Day is June 6. This year is a double jubilee, marking 500 years since Gustav Vasa was elected king in 1523, which laid the foundation of Sweden as an independent state. This year also celebrates HM The King's 50 years as Sweden's head of state, Sweden's longest-reigning monarch of all time.
