Ragnar Bohlin and Cappella SF invite you on a journey through the choral music of France. Our trip begins with the magical sounds of the late Medieval and early Renaissance periods where we will sample works by Machaut, Josquin and more.  We move into the elegance of the 18^th century with Couperin and experience the lushness of the 19^th and early 20^th centuries with Debussy, Duruflé and Fauré.   The musical journey ends with the magnificent and emotionally powerful Figure humaine, written for double choir by Francis Poulenc.
 
We are very pleased that WomenSing will be our special guests and collaborators in the Saturday performance in Orinda.
