The Consulate General of Sweden is pleased to co-present "Army of lovers in the Holy Land" at the 39th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (July 18 - Aug 4, 2019). This documentary takes a look at Army of Lovers, a Swedish queer disco-pop band, and follows front man Jean-Pierre Barda in his decision to move to Israel thirty years after the group's international stardom began. Fun and revealing, this film and its enchanting subject Barda are not to be missed.
