Brexit - United Kingdom exiting the EU

The UK will leave the EU on the 31 January 2020. This will bring changes for Swedish citizens and companies in the UK.

The withdrawal agreement has been approved by the UK Parliament and will now be formally ratified by both sides. 

The UK will leave the EU at 11pm on 31 January 2020 and the transition period will begin on 1 February, running until 31 December 2020. During this time the central parts of the future relationship between the EU and the UK will be negotiated.

Swedish citizen living in or moving to the UK?

As a Swedish citizens living in the UK you will need to apply for settled status. The application is open and you will find all information via this link.
