The New Nordics are working with emerging theatre-makers from the UK and abroad to explore what Nordic theatre and culture is and how it can enrich theatre in the UK.
The festival consists of a play from each of the Nordic countries, each led by a creative team of emerging directors, designers and actors chosen for the festival.
From Sweden: The Woman Who Turned Into a Tree is a one-woman play about the destructive obsession with other people’s opinions and materialism, loneliness and class.
