Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde visiting Ukraine, March 2-3

Sweden’s Foreign Minister Ann Linde will be visiting Ukraine for bilateral discussions with Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko and Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euroatlantic integration Dmytro Kuleba. Foreign Minister Linde will also meet representatives of Ukrainian civil society, labour organisations and organisations supporting LGBTI rights. She will also meet representatives of organisations such as the OSCE and the UN. 

Ukraine’s reform agenda and conflict related issues will be the main focus of the visit.

Ahead of her visit, Foreign Minister Linde stresses that the Russian aggression against Ukraine is an armed conflict taking place in the heart of Europe. It is important to safeguard the European security order, support Ukraine and address the suffering of the civilian population.
