Who may be seen? Who may not? And why not? Who has the right to decide on who may be seen? Those are some of the questions which the project Images that change the world – a guide to more equal communication aims to answer.
We’re already in the third year of the project, proudly brought to Latvia by the Swedish Institute and the photographer Tomas Gunnarsson.
The aim of the Latvian project is exactly the same as it was in Gävle and as it is elsewhere - to increase inclusion and belonging, to combat all forms of discrimination, to form respect by giving everyone their inherent and unconditional right to be seen!
