Led by the known Swedish conductor Fred Sjöberg, Örebro Chamber Choir is going to present J. S. Bach's oratorio St John Passion in partnership with Shanghai International Choral League in Shanghai on June 3.
Founded in 1961, Örebro Chamber Choir consists of 40 singers. They perform a wide repertoire ranging from renaissance music to modern pieces, from classic to jazz. Sjöberg has been the principal conductor of the Choir since 1983.
