As of 21 January, people travelling to Sweden from countries in the EU/EEA, including the Nordic countries, must be able to present the EU Digital COVID Certificate or an equivalent certificate showing that they have either been vaccinated against COVID-19, tested negative within 72 hours prior to arrival or recovered from COVID-19 within the past 6 months.
This requirement applies to foreign nationals who are 18 or older.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
