A recommendation means that there are very limited opportunities for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Swedish embassy to help Swedish travelers within the country. Since 16 August 16, the Swedish embassy in Kabul is operating from Stockholm and cannot assist citizens with issuing provisional passports, applying for coordination numbers for newborn children or investigating paternity cases.
