No, you cannot apply for asylum at the Swedish Embassy. To apply for asylum, you have to be in Sweden. Please contact the UNHCR office closest to your city or place of residence for more information.
First, in order to apply for a work permit, you must have an offer of employment in Sweden. Baisicaly, your employer in Sweden initiates the work permit application by completing an offer of employment. Your employer needs information about your name, date of birth, citizenship, education and your email address.

As soon as, you have been granted a residence permit, the Migration Agency sends your card for prodcution. The producation and arrival process may takes between 3 to 4 weeks. As soon as the card arrives to the embassy, you will receive an authomatic email informing you to contact the embassy to book an appointment to pick up your card.
Normally, The card can be delivered each Thursday between 14h00-16h00

And during Ramadan each Thursday between 14h00-15h00
(only working days)
If you have been granted a residence permit and you do not leave your biometrics data ( photo and fingerprints) yet. You can visit the embassy every Thursday between 14h00-16h00/ During Ramadan between 14h00-15h00. Please note that even if you have been granted a permit in Sweden the card cannot be issued without submitting your biomterics.
