From 25 May to 8 June 2019, the Swedish Embassy will tour the United Kingdom. From Brighton to Edinburgh, we will travel through England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland to meet people, businesses and institutions who together make up the strong relationship between our two countries.
Sweden comes to Cranfield on 29th of May!
The visit to Cranfield University, in collaboration with the Swedish company Saab, aims to highlight innovations in Aeronautics. It is a themed event that centers around defence and security and involves students of the University, lecturers, as well as the entire Defence department from the Embassy of Sweden.
The day will conclude with a visit to Martin Baker, for the better part of a century the world’s leading manufacturer of ejection seats. Their unprecedented life-saving capabilities will be tested by the Ambassador, by strapping him into an ejection seat. Pictures to follow!

Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
