    Sweden on Tour,

From 25 May to 8 June 2019, the Swedish Embassy will tour the United Kingdom. From Brighton to Edinburgh, we will travel through England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland to meet people, businesses and institutions who together make up the strong relationship between our two countries.

    Cardiff 30 May

Sweden comes to Cardiff on the 30th May!

The Swedish Ambassador Torbjörn Sohlström and Embassy staff will visit Cardiff and set up our Pop-Up Embassy in Cardiff City Centre, from 11.30-17.00, location: Queen Street - Outside Capitol Shopping Centre, CF10 2HQ.

First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford AM, and Minister for International Relations and Welsh Language Eluned Morgan AM, will come to meet the Ambassador at his Embassy on wheels at various times during our visit.

The Ambassador, and Honorary Consul for Sweden in Cardiff Elisabeth Roth, will attend a working lunch with Swedish foreign direct investors in Wales, and Welsh exporters who are active in the Swedish market.

The visit aims to celebrate Welsh-Swedish collaborations and strengthen future relations.

    Pop-Up Embassy, 30 May, 11.30am-5pm

Location: Queen Street - Outside Capitol Shopping Centre, CF10 2HQ

You will get the chance to meet the Ambassador of Sweden to the UK, Torbjörn Sohlström, and his colleagues from the Embassy.

We hope to connect with some of the 100,000 Swedes and 1,000 Swedish companies who live and operate in the UK. And of course, we aim to meet as many Britons as possible who are interested in learning more about Sweden.

    • Pop over for some Swedish "fika" (cinnamon buns, biscuits, lingonberry juice and more).
    • Meet some of our sponsors – Scania UK, Fjällräven, Handelsbanken, IKEA, Stena Line and Vattenfall.
    • Participate in our "tipspromenad" (quiz) with a chance to win a piece of Sweden.
    • Ask about Sweden, Swedish-British collaborations, Swedish culture, businesses, language...
